Emerging athlete getting ready for major competition

The young golfer can count on multiple prominent cheerleaders as she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a special exemption to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses multiple international courses and often plays against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play tight competitions," she revealed.

The golfer shared that Trump, unable to come, advised her: "Simply stay calm."

"My grandpa basically told me to go out there and relax," she continued.

"From my perspective, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with world affairs, making him quite busy."

While still amateur, the golfer has played in only three events this year and maintains position 461 in AJGA rankings.

Yet she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He is the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.

"And he's a superior individual. He advised me to play, have fun, adapting to the flow."

The golfer will compete against multiple top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials commented that her participation helps introduce golf to wider groups, especially reaching the next generation.

Kai has substantial online presence and recently launched an exclusive apparel and wellness label.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
