Approximately Ninety Flights Linked to Jeffrey Epstein Reportedly Arrived at or Departed from British Airports
Analysis has uncovered that approximately 90 flights connected to Jeffrey Epstein reportedly landed at and took off from UK airports, with some reportedly carrying British women who claim they were exploited by the convicted child sex offender.
Flight Logs Show Pattern of Movement
The travel manifests were part of thousands of legal papers and files released by Epsteinâs estate that have been disclosed over the past year. The investigation uncovered 87 flights connected to Epstein â featuring many that were not previously known â landing or taking off from UK airports between the early 1990s and 2018.
Onboard Individuals and Post-Conviction Travel
Unidentified âfemalesâ were documented among the travelers travelling into and out of the UK. Significantly, 15 of these UK flights occurred following Epsteinâs 2008 guilty verdict for soliciting sex from a child.
âIt was âastonishingâ that there had never been a âfull-scale UK investigationâ into his operations in the country,â said US lawyers representing hundreds of Epstein victims.
UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings
Testimony from one of the UK-based survivors helped convict Epsteinâs associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. However, that survivor has not received any contact by UK authorities, as stated by her attorney based in Florida.
In a statement, the Metropolitan police stated they had ânot received any new information that would support reopening the probe.â They added, âIf new and relevant evidence be brought to our attention, including any resulting from the release of documents in the US, we will evaluate it.â
Continuing Disclosure and Legal Rulings
A bill to release all files held by the US government in concerning Epstein passed the House and Senate last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to follow through. Hundreds of thousands of papers are projected to be made public.
In a related development, a federal judge decided last week that the department could disclose evidence from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epsteinâs close friend, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the charges.
